Merry Christmas everyone! I popped onto SCS after I got home from Christmas dinner at my parents house (yummy yummy....and I love my family so much!) and I saw that there was a Technique challenge up for today. We were supposed to use some wrapping paper from a gift to make a thank you's mine:

The base is Certainly Celery stamped with Mellow Moss using the French Script background stamp. I used the corner ticket punch and punched the corners of a Mellow Moss piece, a piece of the Andrew's Jewelers bag that I recieved today and a piece of Very Vanilla. I inked all th edges and stamped the swirl thingie from Carte Postale on the VV and mirrored it (thanks to notimetostamp for that idea!) in Old Olive. The ribbon is adhered with glue dots and is actually the handle from the gift bag. I punched an oval from the bag and an oval from VV and stamped and inked the edges with Old Olive then stuck it down using two silver brads.

Thats about it...I love the way it turned out though!

Hope that you all have a good rest of the holidays!

Jessica, awesome card! I never would've thought to put that stamp on its side - I'll be "borrowing" that idea, for sure!
